Hi All,

Though The Lindley Band played well for our guest conductor Jim Davis, we didn’t do enough right and came in 12th out of 15 bands yesterday at Pontin’s.  This was despite some outstanding performances including wonderful solos by Ian (our principal euph) and Derrek (our Eb Sop) who were both terrific.

After our performance, “3rd man down” Andrew was kind enough to drive me back home so I could get ready for the B&R rehearsal and show in Huddersfield.  Everything turned out well and Sarah even brought the girls to the show.

I’m only with B&R this week as we have 3 rehearsals and then travel to London for a Saturday concert at Royal Albert Hall.  Back with Lindley next week.
