This past May, Matt Hartmann graduated from Rowan with degrees in Performance (Classical and Jazz) and Music Education, and this month he will begin two years as a Graduate Assistant at The Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM) with Director of Jazz Studies, Dr. Scott Belck.  During his time at Rowan Matt played lead in Jazz Band, Lab Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Pep Band, and Trumpet Ensemble.  This past semester he was also 2nd Man in The Atlantic Brass Band.  Matt also taught for us in the Rowan Prep Program and his students showed excellent improvement.  It was great being his teacher these past few years and we wish him great success in his MM program and the future!
